Fresh cherries, frozen bananas and dab of chocolate make these smoothies delicious while still being healthy! You can use whatever milk (or yogurt) you like. Almond milk would be delicous, but you could also do coconut or soy. I used whole milk, and it was wonderful! And I can’t think of a better way to celebrate! Because today Frugal Foodie Moms turns 1! Not 1 year old, but 1 month old! FFM’s is still a “newborn” on the internet. She’s almost as fresh as these cherries! And hopefully just as good!
It seems like every weekend, Little Foodie is begging me to make more smoothies. So we’ve covered quite a bit of ground. Today it was Chocolate Covered Cherries. We’ve already done Brownie Batter, Pineapple Mint, Banana Cream Pie, Pistachio Dream, and Cherries Jubilee, just to name a few! You can find most of them in our Drinks section.
I love making smoothies that are indulgent enough for dessert and healthy enough to eat for breakfast or a snack. I’ll be adding lots more, as Little Foodie shows no sign of stopping. Perhaps it’s the whipped cream he’s after. I think Apple Pie and Pumpkin Pie smoothies can’t be far away!
